That smells good, what is it called?
Prepare to be asked this question countless times. Take part in our visit to the distillery and perfume workshop in Massarosa: you will walk through the farm's botanical garden, discover the transformation of plants into essences and experiment with the aromas of Versilia.
And at the end of the experience, you will have created your own personalised perfume. Which can only bear your (unique) name!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Massarosa (LU). At the reception you will meet the guide who will accompany you on this (fragrant) adventure!
The experience will begin with a walk through the farm's botanical garden: along the way, you will observe numerous varieties of plants, including officinal, aromatic and tropical plants, as well as trees and citrus fruits; the guide will describe their characteristics, cultivation and processing. The farm specialises in the cultivation of medicinal plants, in particular the organic eucalyptus, of which they boast the first and largest cultivation in Italy!
You will then visit the distillery: you will learn more about the process of transforming plants into essential oils, essences, extracts and natural preparations. And in the Bio Bottega, you will discover natural remedies made from the products of our land. The visit will continue in the Nonno Amedeo Agricultural Museum: an immersion in the memories of the owner family's life and the farming traditions of yesteryear.
And now it is time to put into practice what you have learnt during the perfume workshop! A brief moment of aromatherapy will teach you to distinguish the different aromatic families and recognise head, heart and base notes. You will then select the essences that best represent you and harmonise with each other. And drop by drop, each participant will have created their own personalised perfume reminiscent of Versilia!
The experience will last about two hours in total.

The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
The experience is accessible by wheelchair and pushchair.
The experience is reserved for a private group of 2 to 10 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
