Full description
Not sure what Wakeboarding is? Imagine a sport that fuses water skiing, surfing and snowboarding together. Yep, that description alone makes you realise that it is an adrenaline-pumping and fun water sport. And indeed, it is.
You will ride for 30 minutes on a board that resembles a snowboard, on which you will stand without difficulty thanks to the boots attached to the bindings. You will then experience the thrill of gliding fast across the water towed by a motor boat, to which you will be tied by a cable with a handle.

What we will do
The meeting is in Letojanni, where our instructor will be waiting for us and welcome us.
Before entering the water, we will have an introductory briefing with him lasting about 10 minutes, in which he will explain to us all the information we need to carry out the activity, from the starting techniques to the basics of standing up on the board.
When the instructor takes his place on the boat and starts the engines, we will already start to feel the adrenaline! We will glide over the water at great speed, guided by the force of the boat, to which we will be connected by a cable. With a little effort and practice, even if it is our first time, we will be able to stand up and ride the wave.
The bay of Taormina and Letojanni will provide us with a breathtaking backdrop, with the turquoise sea and landscapes framing every moment of the experience. Finally, after about 20 minutes in the water, we will return to the beach.
The activity lasts a total of about half an hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone from 7 years old and up. The only requirements are to be in good health and to be able to swim.
For children under the age of 18, written parental authorisation is required.
Other information
The activity is held daily from May to November.
Changing rooms, showers and toilets are available on site and staff take care of any personal belongings during the activity.
Accompanying persons are welcome and can stay at the bar or on the beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, where they can wait in relaxation for the activity to end.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
