Full description
Surfing on Lake Garda is possible. Try it to believe it.
You can do it by taking part in our wakesurfing lesson in Manerba del Garda: in the company of an instructor, you will learn the theory of this water discipline and put what you have learnt into practice by spending 20 minutes in the water. You will maneuver through the waves generated by a 'special' boat, demonstrating your skills on the board!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Manerba del Garda (BS). We will be welcomed by theinstructor who will accompany us on this aquatic adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, theequipment will be handed over and all useful information for the activity will be provided. We will then board a 'special' boat, with which we will reach the heart of Lake Garda.
In the meantime, the instructor will introduce us to the world of wakesurfing during a theory lesson: we will discover what wakesurfing is, how it works, and what are the correct positions to hold on the board. He will also give a wakesurfing demonstration, to visualise what we will soon be trying out in the water ourselves! This first moment will last 15 minutes.
And here we are ready to"surf": thanks to theinstructor 's teachings, with whom we will communicate by radio, we will soon learn to manoeuvre on the board among the waves generated by the boat to which we will be tied with a rope. Each participant will spend 20 minutes in the water; for the remaining time, they will be able to wait their turn on board the boat, relaxing or watching the sporting feat of the other participants.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience may last from 1 hour to 2½ hours in total , depending on the number of participants.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by an adult to sign the authorisation.
Swimming skills are required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time wakesurfer.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October.
The total duration of the experience varies depending on the number of participants, from a minimum of 1 hour to a maximum of 2½ hours. The activity can be held for up to 6 people at the same time. In this case, the participants will participate together in the theory lesson while sharing the time in the water on the wakesurf for 20 minutes each. Participants who are not on the wakesurf will wait their turn on board the boat.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
There is a toilet and public shower on site. Any personal items, bags or small backpacks can be stowed on board the boat.
If you would like to request a wetsuit free of charge, which is only required in the cold season, please contact the instructor at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to inform him of your size.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point with refreshments nearby. It is not possible to watch the experience from the meeting point.
