If you think a walk with alpacas is out of the ordinary, wait until you see the rest.
Join our experience in Castell'Alfero, in the province of Asti: you will walk in the Asti hills together with a guide and his alpacas. And on your return, you will be greeted by the other animals of the exotic farm.
A 2-hour experience, with an unfailing aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is 5 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Callianetto, a hamlet in the municipality of Castell'Alfero (AT). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will meet the very nice (and very soft) alpacas: Alvin, Panna and Cristal are just some of the specimens. We will then proceed with the assignment: we will get to know our adventure companion by cuddling him, brushing him and putting him on a harness. The guide will not fail to provide all useful information for a carefree experience.
Our walk with alpacas can then begin: we will venture into the splendid setting of the Asti hills, taking a scenic route through open countryside and woodland; there may also be other inhabitants of the farm in our company. The walk with alpacas will last about 1 hour.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point where an aperitif of local products will be waiting for us: we will sit on the scenic giant bench to toast with cold meats, cheeses, other delicacies and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. Keeping us company will be the animals of the exotic farm: cows, goats, zebras, dromedaries and other surprising specimens will graze around us; they may even approach in search of cuddles! The guide will not fail to introduce each animal during the guided tour of the farm.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 5 and up; infants may be carried in a baby carrier. From the age of 9, it is possible to lead the animal; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Attention! The experience involves the allocation of 1 alpaca per participant from 9 years of age, with a maximum of 4 participants per booking. Other participants will be assigned other farm animals.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
