Bruce, Eros, Achille, Fiordaliso and their fluffy friends are waiting for you for a date in the Arezzo hills. And we are sure they will win your heart!
Take part in our alpaca walk in the province of Arezzo: in the company of a guide, you will learn more about these friendly animals and venture into the natural setting of the Val Tiberina in their company.
A2 to 4 hour experience that will make you fall in love!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pieve Santo Stefano (AR). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this soft adventure!
The experience will begin with an introduction to the world of alpacas and llamas, which we will soon get to know. And then we will meet our adventure companions, each with their own unique characteristics: Bruce, Eros, Achilles, Cornflower and Leonard are just some of the animals who will be taking part in the walk.
Together with our new (and soft) friends, each leading his or her own alpaca or llama by the halter, we will venture along a nature trail in the Arezzo hills. We will walk through meadows and woods, immersing ourselves in the nature of the Tiberina Valley and, during a brief stop while the animals graze, we will be able to take souvenir photos in their company!
The experience will last a total of 2 or 4 hours, depending on the option selected at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 5 years participate free of charge: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence. It is possible to lead an animal independently from 6 years of age.
The trail is not accessible to people with mobility problems or with pushchairs; it is advisable to bring any babies in a baby carrier.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants (2-hour activity) or a minimum number of 4 participants ( 4-hour activity ) .
The guide has alpacas and llamas available to accompany them on walks, subject to availability. The difference between the two animal species lies in their size and the cute shape of their ears, either 'banana' or 'arrow' shaped.
Hiking shoes must be worn to participate. The walk takes place on a hillside and there are gentle ups and downs along the way.
Any accompanying persons can wait for the end of the experience at the meeting point, where there is a refreshment point open by reservation from Easter to the beginning of November. Leashed dogs are allowed at the refreshment point.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, but a shuttle service is available from the municipality of Pieve Santo Stefano at a cost of €10. 00 each way for the entire group: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the service.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
