Alpaca trekking and visit with tasting in a brewery in the Langhe

Yes, because in addition to adventuring with a guide and his soft animals in the hills of the Langhe, you will arrive at the historic Baladin Brewery. Here, a guided tour with tasting of 1 beer, brewed in Italy's largest craft brewery, will be waiting for you.

A 4-hour experience, which may never end if you choose to spend more time on the estate with the farm animals!

What we will do

The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Lequio Tanaro (CN), in a characteristic 18th century estate. To welcome us we will find the guide who will accompany us on this soft adventure!

Once all the participants have gathered, a 30-minuteintroduction to the world of alpacas will take place, during which we will learn more about our sweet companions whose names have been carefully chosen by the children of the family.

And here we are ready for our alpaca walk: we will venture into the woods adjacent to the estate, following a gently sloping hillside path with a panoramic view of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will then reach the historic Baladin Brewery, the largest in Italy: in the company of a guide, we will visit the production rooms and learn more about the history of craft beer. The visiting experience will end with the tasting of 1 barrel-aged beer (included); however, we can choose to taste more of the more than 30 craft beers of the house at our own expense!

After covering a total distance of around 7 km, we will finally return to the estate where we can say goodbye to the other animals that live there, from horses to the characteristic black Piedmontese pigs. It will be possible to stay on the estate as long as we wish, as if we were at home.

The alpaca walk will last 3 hours; the visit with tasting in the brewery will last 1 hour. The total experience will last about 4 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult. Children from 0 to 6 years of age participate free of charge, but it is necessary to indicate their presence by contacting the guide at the contact details indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Beer tasting is reserved for participants and accompanying adults only.

The experience is not suitable for people in wheelchairs and/or pushchairs; the experience is not suitable for pregnant women; the experience is not suitable for people with disabilities.

The experience takes place on Sundays from April to October.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

The guide has 4 alpacas for a maximum number of 4 participants and 6 accompanying persons.

When booking, it will be possible to select the number of participants (people taking part in the walk and leading the alpaca) and/or accompanying persons (people taking part in the walk but not leading the alpaca); each accompanying person booking must be matched by at least one booking per participant.

Any accompanying persons not taking part in the walk can wait on the estate where there is a refreshment point. Leashed dogs are allowed on the estate.
