Harris's buzzards, peregrine falcons and golden eagles will be your companions on this adventure!
Take part in our walk with fascinating birds of prey: in the company of a falconry guide, you will venture into a natural setting where birds of prey can fly freely. And if you wish, you can also experience the thrill of holding a bird of prey in your fist.
A 2-hour experience that will give you wings!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Lavello (PZ) . Awaiting us will be the guide-falconier who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will toast with a soft drink offered as a welcome drink. This will be followed by an introduction to the world of birds of prey and falconry: the guide will provide all the useful information for a carefree experience, enriched with anecdotes and curiosities. During the presentation we will also get to know our fellow adventurers: Harris's buzzards, peregrine falcons and the majestic golden eagle. This will last about 45 minutes.
And here we are ready for our walk with the birds of prey! We will venture out into nature, entering a wooded area in the shadow of Mount Vulture. In the meantime, we will be able to admire the spectacle of birds of prey flying freely above our heads! For those who wish, it will also be possible to wear a falconer's glove and carry a bird of prey on their fist. The walk will last about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last approximately 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 3 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility problems. Please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report the presence of a person in a wheelchair and/or with mobility problems to request a change to the route.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 10 participants is reached.
Dogs and other animals are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
