Lace up your shoes and get ready to fill your eyes with beauty!
At the Capellini Winery, in the heart of the Cinque Terre, an adventure awaits you that combines the pleasure of walking with the discovery of a unique wine territory. Here, you will discover what 'heroic viticulture' really means and be enchanted by a view that embraces the villages of Manarola and Corniglia.
At the end of the walk, you will be rewarded with a tasting of 4 wines accompanied by typical bruschettas.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Capellini Winery in Volastra (SP) , a village suspended between sea and sky.
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will lead us along a historical-cultural route that winds its way through the terraces, until we arrive at the winery's Wine Museum on the picturesque Costa della Posa, one of the most prized sub-zones of the Cinque Terre DOC.
During the walk, we will walk between the rows of vines overlooking the sea, while the guide will explain the techniques of heroic viticulture and the importance of preserving the dry stone walls. This will be the perfect opportunity to take incredible photos with Manarola and Corniglia as our backdrop. After about 45 minutes of exploration and stories, it will be time to sit down for the tasting.
We will then move on to the guided tasting of four labels: the Cinque Terre DOP, the Menestrun d'Ua, the Gustu and we will conclude with the king of local wines, the Sciacchetrà.
To accompany our glasses, we will find tasty mixed bruschetta prepared with fresh tomatoes, local anchovies and the inevitable pesto, to end this immersion in Ligurian wine culture in style.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and over, as the wine tasting is for adults only.
Due to the natural shape of the terraced vineyards, the activity is not accessible to people with mobility problems.

The experience takes place from April to October.
Dogs are allowed during the experience if kept on a leash.
There is free parking on site in the vicinity of the village of Volastra. The meeting point can be reached by public transport: from the Manarola railway station it is possible to take a shuttle bus to Volastra in about 5 minutes. For those who enjoy trekking, Volastra is connected by a wonderful network of scenic trails. A NCC service can also be organised on request.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
