You wanted a bike... and now you're pedalling on Lake Como!
If it seems impossible, it's because you haven't tried water biking yet ! Get on the saddle and explore the shores of Lake Como in an original way, stopping to admire the historic villas (including the unmissable Villa Oleandra), the most luxurious hotels and pretty villages.
Rent a waterbike for 2 hours and prepare to be amazed at how well you pedal on water!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Laglio (CO), on the shores of Lake Como.
Here you will be welcomed by staff who will provide you with the waterbike, life jacket and the necessary instructions for using the bike independently. After a short technical briefing , you will be ready to go. On average, the waterbike reaches a speed of 6.5 km/h and will allow you to ride on the lake with ease and stability.
Leaving Laglio and the outline of Villa Oleandra (one of George Clooney's residences!) behind you, you can head north along the elegant villas of Torriggia or cross the lake to the picturesque village of Careno. If you wish to go a little further, you can also reach theOrrido di Nesso, with its secret waterfall.
Alternatively, you can cycle south towards Carate and Moltrasio, where you will find more historic villas and luxurious hotels overlooking the water. During the ride you will have the opportunity to stop for a dip or dock for a walk ashore.
The rental will last 2 hours, with return at the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from 7 years of age, with aminimum height of 1.40 m to ride.
Younger children, 1 year and older, can participate as passengers, sitting on the sundeck of the water bikes.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum permitted weight is 120 kg per person.
Itis not necessary to know how to swim: the waterbike is very stable and safe.
Pregnant women may participate on the advice of their doctor.

Rental is available all year round.
The centre has 4 double waterbikes (up to 2 adults pedalling and 2 child passengers, maximum 300 kg total) and 1 single (1 adult pedalling and 1 child passenger, maximum 200 kg total).
It is possible to extend the rental period at a cost of €15 per person per extra hour.
No changing rooms or toilets are available at the meeting point, but you will find bars nearby. Small personal belongings can be stored in the duffle bag attached to the handlebars; bulky luggage can be left in the main office upon request to the organisers.
It is possible to participate with your own dog, up to a weight of 20 kg.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can also be reached by public transport; in high season it is recommended to leave well in advance, due to frequent transport delays.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
