Full description
Three days, two islands and one boat.
In Nettuno (RM), our skipper awaits you for an unforgettable weekend on a sailing boat dedicated to the discovery of Ponza and Palmarola, to be spent in the company of a special crew.
The protagonists of this adventure will in fact be you and the rest of the participants with whom you will share both the common areas of the boat and theorganisation of on-board activities.
A 48-hour experience to discover the Pontine Islands up close and get a taste of life as a sea dog!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 18:00 on Friday at the meeting point in Nettuno (RM), where the skipper will be waiting for us on the sailing boat Zucchero e Cannella.
Once all the participants have gathered, everyone will be assigned their own cabin, after which we will listen to a briefing on the safety rules to be observed on board.
We will then be ready to set sail in the direction of the Pontine Islands, which we will reach after a crossing of about five hours, often accompanied by groups of dolphins that populate the route. Once near Palmarola, we will drop anchor to spend the night at anchor, lulled by the waves.
Saturday morning will be dedicated to discovering Ponza: from Frontone beach, north of the port, we will move towards Cala Inferno and theNatural Arch, to arrive, once past theislet of Gavi, in the western part of the island at the natural pools of Cala Feola, the stacks of Lucia Rosa, and the striking Chiaia di Luna.
At the end of the day, we can choose whether to sleep in the roadstead again, or to moor in the harbour and spend an evening on dry land before returning on board for the night.
On Sunday morning we will then sail to the magnificent Cala del Porto and Cala Tramontana on the island of Palmarola, before returning to Neptune in the afternoon at around 18:00.
The experience will last a total of 48 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
The experience is available every weekend of the year except August and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
Theitinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions and the unquestionable judgement of the skipper.
Attention! All items in "What's not included" are to be divided between all participants of the experience.
Theboat is a 12-metre sailboat Canodis 37 equipped with 3 double cabins, shared toilet facilities, kitchen with dinette, sunbathing area, awning and hot and cold fresh water shower. Clean boat shoes are allowed on board or you can go barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.

Paying parking spaces are available at the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
