Do you dream of waking up to the sound of the sea? Make your dream a reality: set off on a weekend sailing trip from Marina di Pisa!
Explore the Tuscan coast towards Castiglioncello or further north to the Gulf of La Spezia, including Portovenere and the surrounding area, whilst enjoying secluded bays and hidden gems with new friends!
It’ll be a weekend of pure fun and relaxation, where you can take a dip in crystal-clear waters, learn the basics of sailing, or simply let yourself be lulled by the waves.

What we will do
Check-in is from 6. 00 pm on Friday at the Port of Marina di Pisa, in the province of Pisa. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the skipper and crew to organise your provisions and settle into the elegant cabins on board.
The vessel is a splendid 13. 6-metre sailing yacht equipped with three double cabins for guests, a galley and bathrooms. For dinner, you can choose to cook for yourselves on board or explore the restaurants in the marina. You’ll spend the first night moored in the Port of Pisa.
On Saturday morning, you’ll set sail for a guided excursion led by a skipper with over 20 years’ experience. Depending on the weather, you can choose between two possible itineraries:
- southwards along the Tuscan coast to Castiglioncello (with stops for a swim at Quercianella and Caletta) or
- northwards on a 4–5-hour sail to the Gulf of La Spezia, Portovenere and Palmaria Island.
Whilst sailing, you’ll be able to take part in the manoeuvres and learn the basics of sailing.
On the second night, you’ll spend the night at anchor or moored at Cala de’ Medici, Portovenere or Marina del Fezzano (depending on the itinerary) .
Sunday will be spent enjoying more dives in crystal-clear waters and exploring the area with the SUP board and snorkelling kit provided, before returning to the port of departure.
Check-out is by 6. 00 pm on Sunday.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 7 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to September and is confirmed once a minimum of 4 participants has been reached.
The 13. 6-metre sailing boat has 4 double cabins, a galley, 2 shared toilets and an outdoor shower. A stand-up paddleboard and snorkelling kit are available for participants on board.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
The participation fee includes 2 nights’ accommodation on board, the skipper/instructor and Friday night’s mooring at the port of Pisa. The following are to be considered extra costs: provisions, port charges (on Saturday night) and fuel costs, to be shared amongst all participants.
You may bring what you need for packed lunches on board, whilst in the evening you can dine at the marina’s restaurants or cook for yourselves on board. For specific requirements or special requests, please contact the skipper (you will receive their contact details by email with your booking confirmation) .
The weekend programme is subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
