A weekend in Piedmont is always a good idea.
Even more so if it is our wellness stay in Castiglione Falletto: the package includes overnight stay, entrance to the wellness area, guided tour of the winery and lunch or tasting dinner. All this within a refined farmstead and winery dedicated to the cultivation of Barolo and Nebbiolo, in the heart of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage site.
And if you're wondering: yes, you deserve it.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Castiglione Falletto (CN) . The experience takes place inside a refined farmhouse, in the heart of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage site.
On arrival you will receive the keys to your double room: the air-conditioned room with soundproof walls measures 20 m² and has a private bathroom complete with shower, bidet, hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes; flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi connection, wardrobe and safe. The room offers a panoramic view of Barolo, La Morra and the Langhe hills.
You will then have access to the wellness area, which consists of a sauna, Turkish bath, emotional shower with hot water, outdoor hydro-massage with panoramic view and relaxation area with herbal tea corner for about 2 hours.
This will be followed by a guided tour of the winery: the host farm is in fact a farm dedicated to the cultivation of Barolo and Nebbiolo grapes. The guide will take you on a 2000-year-long journey to discover the history of the area and wine production, with Barolo as the protagonist. The visit to the winery will last about 1 hour.
Finally, you will climb up to the panoramic tower to toast with 1 glass of local white wine to precede lunch (Sunday) or the tasting dinner (Saturday and Sunday). Depending on the best weather conditions of the day, the latter will take place on the terrace or in the panoramic restaurant room and will include 3 starters, 1 first course, 1 second course, 1 dessert and coffee; paired with 3 of the farm's red wines such as Dolcetto d'Alba, Barolo Bussia and Barolo Pugnane.
The morning after your overnight stay, a buffet breakfast with local products and more will await you. For a sweet good morning (and a last goodbye) in the beautiful setting of the Langhe!

Please note! The programme may vary depending on your check-in day. If you check in on a Friday or Saturday, the package includes a tasting dinner; if you check in on a Sunday, the package includes a tasting lunch.
The experience takes place from March to November on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
On Fridays and Saturdays, check-in is from 3. 00 pm to 7. 00 pm; on Sundays, check-in is at 12. 00 pm. On Sundays only, the programme varies as follows: a guided tour of the winery, followed by lunch, followed by access to the wellness area.
The price does not include the tourist tax of €1. 50 per person, payable on site in cash or by card.
The wellness area is shared with other guests at the property.
Free options are available for guests with food allergies and intolerances (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and others) , whilst options for guests with other dietary preferences are available for a fee (a supplement of €5. 00 per course per person) ; vegan options are not available. Small dogs are allowed in the room: please contact the property using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your four-legged friend will be staying with you.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
