Do your weekends always seem a bit ‘bland’? Add a dash of flavour with a tasting session in Cassano all’Ionio, in the heart of the ancient Sibaritide region!
At this artisan workshop, you’ll be treated to a generous platter of cheeses and sauces featuring local specialities, to be enjoyed with 2 or 4 glasses of wine, depending on your appetite.

What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at the meeting point in Cassano all’Ionio, in the province of Cosenza, set against the backdrop of the Sibaritide region and Mount Pollino.
We’ll be welcomed by the staff of this artisan workshop specialising in local specialities, including cheeses, preserves, sauces, pâtés and jams. We will then take our seats in the tasting area, set up inside the shop or outside depending on the season, to enjoy 2 or 4 glasses of wine ( depending on the option chosen at the time of booking) .
We’ll be able to savour the fruity aromas of two white wines and the winery’s pride and joy, the native Magliocco grape variety (available as a red or rosé) . The flavours of the wine will be enhanced by a delicious pairing of artisanal cheeses and sauces.
The experience will last approximately 1 or 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over, as the wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors and non-drinkers may take part in the experience as ‘accompanying guests’ at a cost of €15. 00 per person if they wish to sample the cheese and sauce platter.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The programme runs all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of two people have signed up.
Please note! From 15 September to 30 April, the experience will take place at our Cassano all’Ionio venue, whilst from 1 May to 14 September, the activity will move to our summer venue in Marina di Sibari ( a 10-minute drive away) .
If you have any food allergies or intolerances: please contact the venue using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let us know of any dietary requirements.
Dogs are allowed in the shop, the tasting room and the communal areas (but not in the workshop) .
Free parking is available on site. The venue cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
