A brush in one hand, a goblet in the other. We welcome you to your first wine painting experience!
A masterclass in which, between a sip and a brushstroke, a guide will teach you how to transform wine pigments into shades on paper. Yes, because on the palette you won't find watercolours, but . .. Barbera!
But that's not all: before the workshop, you will visit the Giovanni Rosso winery, in the heart of the Langhe, and you will end on a high note with a tasting of 3 or 5 glasses of excellence.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Azienda Agricola Giovanni Rosso in Serralunga d'Alba (CN) . We will be welcomed by our guide, who on this special occasion will also be our artistic tutor, ready to introduce us to an ancient and evocative painting technique.
We will begin with a guided tour of the winery, exploring the winemaking area and the barrel cellar to discover how the wines we will be using as 'ink' shortly afterwards are made. At the end of the tour, we will take a seat on the panoramic veranda to begin the painting workshop, which will run concurrently with the guided tasting.
Under the guidance of the illustrator - sommelier, we will learn how to use the various intensities of natural wine pigments. We will discover how to read shapes and use colours to express emotions and memories on paper. We will paint mainly with Barbera, but in the meantime we will taste wines from the cellar, choosing between two variants:
- Workshop + Classic Tasting (€70) : includes the visit and the tasting of 3 glasses
- Workshop + Cru Tasting (€100) : includes a visit and tasting of 5 prestigious Langa Crus
The experience will last a total of around 2 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 years and over. Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience as "chaperones" with the price to be paid on site according to consumption.
The facility is accessible to persons with mobility problems on request, so that the visit can be organised in the best possible way.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
It is possible to add a board of typical products to the tasting at a cost of €10 per person. Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the hotel at the contact details given in the confirmation e-mail to communicate any requirements.
Dogs are allowed during the activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
