Full description

If you think of wine tasting, you dream of this experience.

Discover with us the Tenuta San Jacopo, in the hills of the Chianti area of Arezzo: in the company of a guide, you will visit the cellar and taste wines in the barrique cellar. You will toast with 3 glasses of house wine, learning to recognise the unique characteristics of Tuscan wine production appreciated throughout the world.

A1-hour experience among colours, scents and flavours!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the Tenuta San Jacopo in Castiglioncelli, near Cavriglia (AR). We will be welcomed by a guide who will accompany us on a discovery tour of this Tuscan winery!

Once all the participants have gathered, after an initial presentation at the reception of the estate, the experience will begin. We will move on to the adjacent vineyard, located on top of a hill with a panoramic view over the Chianti area around Arezzo and the 18th-century villa owned by the estate: in this setting, the guide will tell us the history of the family and the estate.

We will continue by accessing the cellar, which consists of a large production room inside which we will discover the winemaking process. We will then enter the barrique cellar, the characteristic room used for ageing wine, where our wine tasting will take place: we will taste three glasses of house wine (white, rosé or red, depending on availability) accompanied by dry baked goods. We will learn to observe and appreciate the colours, scents and flavours of Tuscan wine production!

The experience will last 1 hour in total.
