In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, caressed by the sea breeze, lies Belguardo, one of the estates owned by the Mazzei winery, established as one of the most important wine producers in the area.
In the company of a guide-sommelier, you can enjoy this private tour and thus discover the history of their grapes starting from the vineyards to the wine cellar, concluding in the suggestive barrique cellar.
An exclusive food and wine experience that includes the tasting of 5 wines (including the Tenuta Belguardo crus) served with a sampling of local products!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking at Tenuta Belguardo in Poggio La Mozza (GR) .
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a guide dedicated entirely to you, for an even more immersive experience. The private tour will begin with a short walk through the estate's vineyards, where Cabernet, Sangiovese, Vermentino and many other grapes grow. A varied composition, from which complex wines with elegant and aromatic notes are obtained.
The tour will continue in the cellar, where you will visit the vat cellar (where the grapes are fermented) and the barrique cellar, i. e. the wine ageing room. The tour will last approximately 20 minutes, after which you will be seated at the table set up directly in the barrique cellar for a tasting of 5 wines, 2 of which are Tenuta Belguardo crus , accompanied by a sampling of Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses.
The experience will last approximately 75 minutes in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is reserved for private groups of 2 to 8 people.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only, so the experience is recommended from 18 years of age.
Children under the age of 12 participate free of charge: please contact the establishment to advise of their presence. Minors over the age of 13 and abstemious persons may participate in the experience by selecting "accompanying persons" in the booking box.
The wine cellar and wine shop are accessible by wheelchair or pushchair, the vineyard is not.

Activities take place all year round.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Dogs are allowed in the common areas of the winery and in the vineyard, but are not allowed in the cellar.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
