Full description
A wine tasting with a view of Verona? This experience awaits you in the morainic hills of Sona, at the Sparici Landini winery. A tradition born with Maddalena, who was one of the first women of wine in Italy, and which today is carried on by the fourth generation of her family.
After a walk among the olive trees, vineyards and cypress trees, you can visit the cellar to discover the wine-making process and taste three glasses of white or red wine, according to your preferences.
You will discover wines that express the terroir such asAmarone and other top products of the winery: it will be a sensory journey of an hour that will leave you with pleasant memories.
What we will do
The meeting point is theSparici Landini Farm (VR), at the time chosen for the activity.
After the welcome, you will take a walk of about 1 km among the olive trees that surround the estate and an avenue of cypress trees on the moraine hills of the Basso Garda area, with a panoramic view of Verona. You will walk among the vines and begin to discover the characteristics that make each of the winery's wines unique.
At the end of the walk, you will return to the cellar to learn more about the winemaking process and admire the barrels where the wines are aged. You will then take a seat in the showroom to begin the tasting, which will include 3 glasses of wine accompanied by breadsticks, of which
- 1 bubbly of your choice
- 1 glass of white wine between Pinot grigio, Custoza or Chardonnay or red between Bardolino and Cabernet
- 1 glass of Amarone
Some of Sparici Landini's wines, such as theAmarone, are an expression of the Veronese territory, while others focus on innovation and family history, such as the sparkling wine La Grisa, named after the company's founder Maddalena Sparici, or the Pieve San Quirico, a Cabernet Sauvignon appassito and barricade.
During the tasting, there will be an explanation of the characteristics of the wines tasted, to discover the distinctive traits that the estate's soil gives each label.
The activity will last approximately 1 hour, including a 30-minute walk and visit to the winery and a 30-minute tasting session.
