This experience certainly has a lovely flavour.
In Nimis, in the province of Udine, you’ll spend an hour exploring Ramandolo with a guide: you’ll visit the winery, admire the vineyards and finish with a guided tasting of four local wines.
A little journey through Friuli, with a glass of wine in hand, of course.
What we will do
The event will take place at the Dri Giovanni Il Roncat winery in Nimis (UD), in the Ramandolo area. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us on a tour of the winery and introduce us to its wines.
We’ll start with a 30-minute tour of the winery, during which we’ll go to the heart of the production process and learn about the main stages of winemaking. We’ll gain a closer insight into a business that boasts over 40 vintages of experience and a deep connection to this corner of Friuli.
During the tour, we’ll also have the chance to admire the view over the vineyards, cultivated on the steep slopes of the area. Here, the soil, altitude and microclimate all contribute to giving character to the grapes and the wines we’ll soon be tasting.
We will then settle down in the cellar for a guided tasting of four wines. We will sample the Schioppettino DOC, the Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and, finally, two varieties of Ramandolo DOCG, comparing their characteristics and nuances with the guide’s help.
The experience will last approximately 1 hour in total.

This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is for adults only. Minors or those who do not drink alcohol may participate free of charge and will be offered water.
The venue is accessible to people with mobility impairments.

The experience takes place all year round from Monday to Friday and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of two people.
Dogs are allowed on the premises.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
