With one foot in the Langhe and one in the Monferrato, theAzienda Vitivinicola Bussi Piero is the perfect out-of-town excursion for every wine lover .
Visit the family-run winery together with producer Federico and taste 6 glasses of red and white wines on an enchanting panoramic terrace, overlooking the Monferrato hills.
A 1 hour and 30 minute experience to savour all the richness of this territory.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Calosso (AT), 10 minutes before the start time of the visit.
Here we will be welcomed by owner and producer Federico, who embodies the fourth generation at the helm of the winery. TheBussi Piero winery enjoys a privileged position: with the vineyards overlooking the Langhe and the tasting room facing the Monferrato, it brings together the best of these areas.
The visit will begin in the vineyards, where Federico will accompany us to explain the characteristics of the surrounding area. We will then move to the winery, passing through the areas dedicated to vinification andageing, storage and bottling. This first part will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
At this point we will be able to sit on the panoramic terrace, with a view of the Monferrato vineyards, to begin the tasting guided by the producer. We will taste 6 glasses of wines, both red and white, which may change depending on availability:
- Piedmont DOC Cortese
- Grignolino d'Asti DOC
- Langhe DOC Nebbiolo
- Calosso DOC
- Barbera d'Asti DOCG
- Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore
- "Rujon" Moscato d'Asti DOCG
Accompanying the wines will be a small platter of local products such as cured meats, cheeses, breadsticks and hazelnuts from our own production.
The activity will last a total of about 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors can take part in the experience free of charge: contact the winery to communicate their presence after the booking confirmation.
The facility is wheelchair-accessible, with the exception of the underground part of the cellar.
Other information
The experience can be booked every day of the year and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
During the cold season or in the event of bad weather, the tasting will be held in an indoor room.
If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to let them know (gluten-free alternatives are also available).
The winery can be reached by public transport (train to Asti and continuation by bus, stopping near the winery). On-site parking is available.
For those who wish to have lunch, it is possible to do so in a nearby affiliated structure. For further information, please contact the winery after confirmation of your booking.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
