In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region,the Roberto Mazzi e Figli Winery awaits you for a guided wine tasting, preceded by a tour of the cellar and its hidden historic corners.
Get ready to take a trip down memory lane (and into a world of flavour) !
What we will do
The tour takes place at the selected time at the Roberto Mazzi e Figli Winery in Negrar di Valpolicella (VR), one of the five municipalities of the Valpolicella Classica region. On arrival, we will be welcomed by our guide, a member of the Mazzi family, who have carried on a winemaking tradition dating back to the early 20th century.
We’ll begin with a guided tour of the estate: we’ll see the ancient watermill dating back to the 1600s and the museum of milling, before moving on to the production cellar, the historic barrel cellar and the fruit cellar. Along the way, we’ll discover the production method and the winery’s philosophy, in which every stage is managed in-house, from the grape harvest to bottling.
Once the tour is over, we’ll move on to a guided tasting of four wines: Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone and Recioto. The wines will be accompanied by taralli and crostini.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over, as the tasting is restricted to adults. Any accompanying minors may take part free of charge.
The venue is not accessible to wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Dogs are only permitted in the tasting room, not in the production and ageing areas.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
