In San Miniato, wine is a serious business. That’s why they do things on a grand scale here.
Get ready to sample six glasses of Podere Pellicciano’s wines for a full immersion in the wine-growing region of the Arno Valley.
This tasting will allow you to discover the essence of the estate, complemented by a sample of organic extra virgin olive oil and (if you’d like) a delicious platter of cold cuts!
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at Podere Pellicciano in San Miniato (PI), set amongst rolling hills ideal for wine-growing.
We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the family’s philosophy and the history of this historic estate. We will be shown directly into the tasting room, with its large windows overlooking the vineyards.
Here , we will proceed to a technical tasting of six glasses of wine, starting with those most closely linked to the estate’s family history:
- Cimba – D. O. C. Terre di Pisa rosé
- Biondo – I. G. T. Toscana white
- Tricche – D. O. C. Terre di Pisa red
We’ll then move on to the single-varietal wines, where each grape reveals its true identity unfiltered:
- Egola – 100% Malvasia Nera
- Buccianello – 100% Colorino
- Fonte Vivo – Trebbiano
As well as the wine, we’ll also be able to sample the organic extra virgin olive oil produced on the estate. Furthermore, when booking, we can choose to enhance the tasting with a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over. The wine tasting is restricted to adults only. Any accompanying minors and non-drinkers may take part in the experience free of charge.
The venue is accessible to people with mobility issues.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements regarding the chopping board.
Dogs are allowed on request, with the exception of the cellar premises during production.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
