Come and discover the Giovanni Rosso winery, where tasting directly from the barrel will give you an exclusive preview of the Barolo to come.
Not a simple visit but a journey into the heart of the Langhe, which will end with a tasting of 4 wines representative of this unique territory, to be accompanied (if you wish) by a platter of typical products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Giovanni Rosso winery in Serralunga d'Alba (CN), in the splendid setting of the Langhe, land of great reds and UNESCO landscapes. We will be welcomed by our guide, a qualified oenologist or sommelier, ready to lead us into the beating heart of production.
We will begin the tour by exploring the cellar, visiting the winemaking rooms and the evocative barrel cellar dedicated to ageing. During the tour, we will experience a very special moment: we will have the opportunity to taste a future vintage of Barolo directly from the barrel, a travelling tasting that allows us to touch the evolution of the wine before it reaches the bottle.
Afterwards, we will move to the tasting room (bar room) for the highlight. Here, four wines from the current vintage will be served, selected according to our personal taste from among the most representative references from the cellar. Among these, there will certainly be a glass of Barolo DOCG, the 'King' of Piedmontese wines.
For those who wish to complete the experience with a gastronomic touch, it is possible to choose the variant with a chopping board: in this case, the tasting will be accompanied by a selection of typical local Langa products. If, on the other hand, we prefer to focus exclusively on the notes of the wines, we will opt for the 'tasting only' version.
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 years and over. Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience as "chaperones" with the price to be paid on site according to consumption.
The facility is accessible to persons with mobility problems on request, so that the visit can be organised in the best possible way.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
