Have you ever sipped a glass of wine with a 10th century castle in the background?
If the answer is no, now is the time to enjoy this wine-tasting experience at Vini Barani, immersed in the Emilian countryside. A stone's throw from the majestic Vigoleno Castle, in one of Italy's most beautiful villages, authentic flavours and unforgettable views await you.
1 and a half hours of relaxation, taste and dreamlike scenery, where every sip will make you feel a little closer to the heart of Emilia. Ready to toast with us?
What we will do
The meeting is at theVini Barani winery, near Vigoleno Castle (PC), where we will be welcomed by Stefano or another team member.
We will start with a short walk along a panoramic path to admire the different types of vines cultivated. Stefano will accompany us to tell us many interesting facts about the area and historical facts about Vigoleno Castle, a 10th-century gem included among the most beautiful villages in Italy and awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club.
We will reach a panoramic terrace overlooking the castle, where the tasting will begin with a sparkling white wine, perfect to open the dances. Here we will relax, glass in hand, while being told the secrets behind each bottle. The wine will be accompanied by D.O.P. cold cuts, the famous Piacenza fried cake and, to end on a sweet note, a taste of apricot and plum tart.
Stefano will return to the farm to pick up the freshly prepared dishes and serve them to us directly on the terrace... on a quad bike! Each course will be paired with one of the winery's 4 wines, ranging from sparkling to still, in a crescendo of taste and conviviality.
The total duration of the experience will be about 1 hour and 30 minutes, but the panoramic terrace will remain at our disposal even after the guided tasting, so that we can continue to relax, chat and enjoy the wonderful view.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Under 18s will be offered organic fruit juices or soft drinks in addition to the opportunity to taste local products.
The facility is accessible by wheelchair and/or pushchair. However, we recommend tasting in the wine room, as it is easier than on the terrace.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
