A visit to the cellar like this is something you have never done before. And in fact, in addition to the ageing barrels and processing tanks, you will admire the fruit cellar: a guide will tell you that in this room, reserved for the natural drying of the grapes, Amarone and Recioto are born.
And, we bet, even a wine tasting like this, you have never done. And in fact, in addition to the best-known flavours of Valpolicella, you will taste Rosso Verona: a wine from the past that you can only enjoy at Corte Archi. A tasting of 5 glasses, to toast this exclusive experience of over 1 hour!
What we will do
The tour will take place at the selected time at Corte Archi, in the hamlet of Valgatara near Marano di Valpolicella (VR) . You and your group will be welcomed by a member of the winery staff in this stunning setting in the Valpolicella Classica region, between Verona and Lake Garda.
You can then begin your exploration of this early 20th-century winery: you’ll see the wooden barrels where the wine is aged, walk amongst the steel vats in the processing area, and finally reach the drying room, the area dedicated to the natural drying of the grapes, which begin their transformation into Amarone and Recioto here. The tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Weather permitting, there will also be a short walk through the vineyard with views over the Marano Valley before reaching the tasting room. This consists of 5 glasses of Valpolicella wines, accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, subject to availability:
- Valpolicella Classico DOC “Gli Archi”
- Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC “Gli Archi”
- Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso DOC “Gli Archi”
- Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG “Gli Archi”
- Amarone della Valpolicella Classico “IS”
For those wishing to enhance their tasting with 1 or 2 glasses of IGT Pinot Noir or Oseletica, you can select the 6-wine tasting or 7-wine tasting option in the booking box.
Each glass will be carefully described by the tasting host; the Rosso Verona deserves a special mention, as it is a wine from the past that local wineries no longer produce and which you can only taste at Corte Archi!
The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants of legal age only. Minors are entitled to a discounted rate, which includes light snacks accompanied by soft drinks.
The winery is partially accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs.

The experience takes place from January to December.
This activity is private: you and your group will be the only participants.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
