If you love wine and good food, treat yourself to an evening at Tenuta Antica, an organic farm nestled in the hills of the Langa Astigiana!
Here, amongst vineyards, hazelnut groves and medieval villages, you’ll discover a farm that has been passionately cultivating Dolcetto, Barbera and Pinot Noir grapes since 2000. After a stroll through the vineyard rows and a tour of the cellar, you’ll take part in a guided tasting of five organic wines.
Finally, round off the evening with a delicious dinner at the farmhouse!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at Tenuta Antica in the Langa Astigiana, a hilly region of Piedmont where vineyards, hazelnut groves, woods and medieval villages create a landscape of authentic charm. We will be welcomed by the estate’s staff, who will introduce us to the history of the estate and its organic production.
We’ll start with a walk through the vineyards, during which we’ll learn about the estate’s journey and the work carried out every day to cultivate the grapes with respect for nature and the local environment.
We’ll then continue with a tour of the winery, where we’ll explore the main stages of winemaking and learn about the techniques used to transform the grapes into high-quality organic wines.
Once the tour is over, we’ll head to the farmhouse’s tasting room , a cosy setting where we’ll continue our journey of discovery through the estate’s wines.
We will taste five selected wines, including sparkling wines, Metodo Classico, rosés and reds, subject to availability at the time. During the tasting, we’ll be told about the characteristics of the different wines and the distinctive features of the Dolcetto, Barbera and Pinot Noir grapes grown on the estate. The tasting will be accompanied by crackers, breadsticks or other dry baked goods, chosen to bring out the aromas and flavours of the wines on offer.
To round off the evening, we will head to the dining room, where a dinner (included) will be served, consisting of a starter, a first course, a main course with a side dish, a dessert, water and a glass of wine. The dishes vary according to the season and the availability of ingredients.
The experience will last approximately 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone aged 18 and over.
People with reduced mobility can take part in the winery tour, the wine tasting and the dinner. The walk through the vineyards, however, has certain limitations and may not be suitable. Please let us know in advance if anyone with a mobility impairment will be attending.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to the end of November, from Thursday to Sunday.
In the event of bad weather, the activity will go ahead as planned: the walk through the vineyards will be omitted and the experience will continue indoors at the venue.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the venue using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know of any specific requirements. There are no alternatives for teetotallers or children.
Dogs are not permitted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
