Imagine you are in the hills of Bologna immersed in the enchanted landscape of Dozza, a village that is already an open-air work of art. Now add a glass of wine in your hand, the scent of the earth as you stroll among the rows of vines and the warmth of a lit fireplace.
This is the beginning of a tasting experience of 7 wines that will let you discover the secrets of production, from the vineyard to the glass, guided by a sommelier who will turn every sip into a story. We look forward to seeing you at theAssirelli Vini winery !
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected during the booking process at theAssirelli Vini winery in Dozza, in the hills of Bologna. We will be welcomed by the sommelier who will guide us throughout the experience.
If time permits, we will begin with a 20-30 minute walk through the vineyards, discovering curiosities about the production and the territory. We will then move to the wine cellar, where we will explore the different stages of the production process and, depending on the season, we will even taste the wine directly from the barrels. This part will last about 30 minutes.
At the end of the visit, we will take a seat in the tasting room with a lit fireplace or, in summer, in the panoramic room with a view of the hills. Here the tasting of 7 wines selected according to season, availability and personal preference will take place. Among the possibilities:
- White wines such as Albana Secco and Pignoletto DOC Secco;
- Intense, structuredred wines such as Sangiovese Superiore;
- Sparkling wines with a fresh and lively character, such as Albana Spumante Brut.
The wines will be accompanied by artisan cured meats, quality cheeses, piadina and locally produced olive oil.
The experience lasts a total of about 3 hours, of which about 2 hours will be spent just tasting wines.
Who it is aimed at
The tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying minors and abstemious persons participate free of charge.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
