Some time ago, Nicola and Antonella decided to leave the city for the hills south of Padua, pursuing their dream of becoming winegrowers. Would you like to join them for a wine tasting at Ca Avignone?
In this prestigious Veneto villa, between a stroll through the garden and the wine room, you will discover the character of the volcanic wines and the biodynamic philosophy, accompanying each glass with sophisticated gourmet tastings.
A sensory journey in the heart of the Euganean Hills that will conquer both eyes and palate!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Ca Avignone in Villa di Teolo (PD), in the setting of the Euganean Hills Regional Park. We will be welcomed by our AIS sommelier guide, who will introduce us to the company's biodynamic philosophy, focused on soil balance and reducing the carbon footprint.
We will begin our tour by visiting the majestic historic residence and its beautiful gardens. We will enter the winery's warehouse and the elegant wine room, where an exhibition of different vintages is kept. During the visit, we will discover how the volcanic rocks and limestone soils of this area give the grapes a unique and inimitable imprint.
Afterwards, we will sit down for a wine tasting, which in fine weather can take place outdoors under one of the porticos of the villa. We will have the pleasure of discovering wines of excellence created in collaboration with internationally renowned oenologists such as Roberto Cipresso. Depending on the option chosen, we will taste 5 or 7 glasses of the cellar's representative wines, such as 3Tinto, an elegant Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère, or Cicale, a lively white wine re-fermented on yeasts.
Everything will be embellished with a table set with silverware and cutlery, while the tasting will be accompanied by gourmet samples such as spicy vegetable meatballs or cod with caramelised onions.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors and astemious persons may participate in the experience as 'chaperones' at a price upon request.
The facility is wheelchair-accessible.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 people.
Upon request and subject to weather conditions, it is also possible to take a walk in the vineyards located a short distance from the villa.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
