We invite you to Rosignano Monferrato at the Vicara winery, a winery that has been defying convention since 1450 to produce wines that are true declarations of love for the territory. Here you will find not only a visit to the winery and among the vineyards, but a true taste itinerary that combines wine tasting with culinary pairings with the best local specialities.
An experience that smells of history, wine and, of course, great food!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Vicara winery in Rosignano Monferrato (AL) . We will be welcomed by our guide, who will introduce us to the company philosophy, a history that has its roots in the 15th century and which today is expressed through viticulture of excellence.
We will begin our tour with a walk through the surrounding vineyards, until we reach the iconic Big Bench with a view of the Monferrato hills. We will then continue on to the winery's Historical Archive, a magical place where time seems to stand still: old vintages are kept here and we will discover the secrets of the family's winemaking processes.
We will then sit down for a guided wine tasting, designed to be a complete sensory journey. We will taste no less than five glasses of excellent wine: we will start with the bubbles of Domino Spumante Brut Rosé (Martinotti Method) , and then move on to . G (Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC) and Volpuva (Barbera del Monferrato DOC) . The highlight will be the tasting of Uccelletta, the iconic historical Grignolino from a single vineyard, to conclude with the prestigious Cantico della Crosia (Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG) .
Each glass will be accompanied by 4 tastings of Piedmontese specialities (such as vitello tonnato, friciulin and local selections) , designed to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of each glass. It will be a real reinforced aperitif that will allow us to get to know the most authentic and tasty soul of this region.
The experience will last a total of about 2 hours and 15 minutes .

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience at a variable price depending on consumption (payment on site) .
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility problems as there are stairs to access the historic rooms.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
