Full description

Have you ever thought how many stories a glass of wine can contain?

In Caprino Veronese, on the eastern hills of Lake Garda, there is a place where these stories come to life: Tenuta La Presa, a 15th century farmhouse where wine is at home and traditions are handed down like grandmother's secret recipes.

In this wine-tasting experience you will be taken on a journey through vineyards, barrels and heady scents. And when the time comes for the actual tasting, you will realise that the best way to get to know a wine... is to let it speak directly to your palate.

What we will do

The appointment is at Tenuta La Presa, where we will be welcomed by one of the members of the Dei Micheli family. Before pouring our first glass, we will be given a guided tour of the vineyards to discover where everything comes from.

After a 10-minute immersion between the rows, we will then enter the ageing cellar and the sparkling wine factory. Walking between barrels and barriques, the guide will reveal to us the winemaking process and the secrets that make each label unique. We will continue by visiting the barrel cellar, where the wine rests, matures and is enriched with aromas and nuances. This part will last about 20 minutes.

And then, finally, it will be time for the tasting: we will sit down to taste 3 or 4 wines (to be chosen when booking). The protagonist will be Corvina Veronese, the indigenous vine symbol of this land, accompanied by a selection of artisanal bakery products (taralli, bibanesi, breadsticks, bread...)

The total duration of the activity will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors or adults who are not tasting will be charged a reduced fee, which can be selected in the booking box; they will be served fruit juices or other non-alcoholic drinks.
