Here’s the Maremma in a bottle. Or rather, in three bottles!
Come and discover a different side to Tuscany with a wine tasting in Talamone.A seaside experience awaits you, led by Yana, a professional sommelier, who’s ready to take you on a journey through local stories, traditions and some truly special wines.
A unique 1½-hour tour during which you’ll sample no fewer than three glasses of carefully selected wine, including a surprising sparkling wine aged right on the seabed!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Talamone (GR), set against the stunning backdrop of the Tuscan Maremma. We’ll be welcomed by Yana, a professional sommelier since 2015, who will guide us on this food and wine tour.
From the meeting point, we’ll take a short, 5-minute walk to one of the sea-view venues. Here, our guide will tell us the story of the Maremma region through the tales, traditions and emotions associated with the local family-run wineries.
We’ll then take our seats to begin the guided tasting, which includes three glasses of selected wines: two made from native grape varieties (usually white and sparkling) aged in the cellar, and one special sparkling wine aged at sea. The latter holds a real surprise: the bottle is submerged underwater for at least 6–7 months, allowing the sea to create a unique pattern on the surface amongst the corals.
For those who wish, it will be possible to complement the tasting by ordering a sharing platter for two people on the spot (not included in the price, at a cost of €18) .
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.

This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors and non-drinkers may take part in the experience free of charge provided they do not drink, whilst still being able to order other drinks or food from the à la carte menu.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of 4 people.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
