Eh, it's a tough choice here. Wait, wait, in a good way: let's talk about the sweet indecision on how many (and which) glasses to lift today! In Ozzano Monferrato, the Paolo Angelini winery is waiting for you to solve this 'dilemma'.
During this experience in the hills of Monferrato Casalese , you will explore the vineyards and the recently renovated cellar, and then get down to business with a guided tasting accompanied by a sampling of local cured meats and cheeses.
At the end, you will be left with only one doubt: when to come back?
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the Paolo Angelini Viticoltori winery in Ozzano Monferrato (AL), in the frame of the Monferrato Casalese. We will be welcomed by our guide to begin a journey through the rows of vines and the secrets of winemaking.
We will explore the company's vineyards, where each variety has found its ideal place amidst limestone and clay soil. During the walk, we will discover how the soil influences the tonic character of the Barbera or the spicy notes of the Grignolino, without forgetting the international varieties such as Viognier and Syrah.
We will then continue inside the recently renovated cellar, where we will be explained in detail the production and ageing process aimed at enhancing the typicality of each grape variety.
Finally, we will be seated at outdoor tables for the guided tasting. When booking, we will be able to choose between
- MIX 4 WINES tasting, which includes the tasting of 2 wines from the Classic line + 2 from the Selection line
- TOP tasting, which includes the tasting of the 3 best wines from the cellar
In both cases, the experience will be enriched with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses.
The experience will last a total of approximately 1 and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age children can participate in the experience at a cost of €5 (3-7 years) , €10 (8-12 years) or €18 (13-17 years), while children under 3 years participate free of charge.
The facility is accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs.

The experience takes place from March to October and is confirmed for a minimum number of 2 people.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
