Would you like to discover the traditional flavours of the Oltrepò Pavese?
With this wine tasting, you can enjoy the four glasses of wine on offer alongside a delicious traditional lunch. A sommelier from the Casa Garello Winery will explain the characteristics of the wines you’ll be tasting and take you on a tour of the cellar where the winemaking process takes place.

What we will do
We’ll meet at the meeting point at the Casa Garello Farm in Salice Terme (PV). Once we arrive, we’ll be struck by the natural scenery around us, consisting of vineyards, enchanting views and the little houses of the farming village where the agritourism is situated.
After taking in the scenery, we’ll sit down to begin our experience with a wine tasting, accompanied by a delicious traditional lunch (included) . The lunch menu will depend on the choice made at the time of booking:
- tasting + light lunch: a selection of starters (cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, savoury tarts) , a dessert, water and coffee;
- tasting + full lunch: a selection of starters (cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, savoury tarts) , plus a first course of agnolotti and a main course of Pinot-glazed roast meat with a side dish, dessert, water and coffee.
To accompany the food, we will taste four of the estate’s most representative wines , subject to availability. These will include a Pinot Noir vinified as a white wine, a Pinot Noir vinified as a red wine, a Barbera, a Bonarda, a Chardonnay and a Moscato. The tasting will be led by an expert sommelier and paired with traditional specialities from the Oltrepò Pavese region.
At the end of the lunch, which will last around 2 hours, we’ll continue the experience with a 30-minute tour of the winery. Here, we’ll be shown the winemaking process that transforms grapes into wine and introduced to the machinery used. Finally, after a few last questions, we’ll say our goodbyes!
The activity lasts a total of two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. A minimum age of 18 is required to participate in the wine tasting. Non-alcoholic drinks are available for those under 18.
Children under the age of 2 participate free of charge, but it is necessary to inform the organisers via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The activity is available every weekend throughout the year (excluding July) ; it may occasionally take place in the evening. The experience will be confirmed once a minimum of 6 participants has been reached. In the event of bad weather, the activity will take place indoors, even during the summer season.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
