Would you like to discover the typical flavours of the Oltrepò Pavese?
With this wine tasting you can accompany the 4 glasses offered with a delicious typical lunch.
A sommelier fromAzienda Agricola Casa Garello will explain the characteristics of the wines tasted and take you on a tour of the cellar where the wine-making process takes place.

What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point at theCasa Garello farm in Salice Terme (PV). Once there, we will be struck by the natural scenery that surrounds us, made up of vineyards, enchanting views and the small houses of the farming village where the agriturismo is located.
After taking a look at the landscape, we will sit down at the table to begin the experience with wine tasting, accompanied by a delicious typical lunch (included). The lunch menu will depend on the choice made at the time of booking: tasting + light lunch or tasting + full lunch (see the "other information" section for further details).
Regardless of the alternative chosen, we will taste four of the farm's most representative wines , depending on availability. These will include a Pinot Noir vinified in white, a Pinot Noir vinified in red, a Barbera, a Bonarda, a Chardonnay and a Moscato. The tasting will be guided by an expert sommelier and paired with typicalOltrepò Pavese products.
At the end of lunch, which will last about 2 hours, we will continue the experience with a visit to the winery lasting about 30 minutes. Here we will be explained the winemaking process that transforms grapes into wine and we will be shown the machinery used. Finally, after a few final questions, we will say goodbye!
The activity lasts a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. A minimum age of 18 is required to participate in the wine tasting. Non-alcoholic drinks are available for those under 18.
Children under the age of 2 participate free of charge, but it is necessary to inform the organisers via the contact details in the booking confirmation e-mail.
Other information
The activity is available every weekend of the year (except July) and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants. In the event of bad weather, the activity will also be held indoors during the summer season.
When booking, it will be possible to choose between two options: tasting + light lunch and tasting + full lunch. The light lunch includes a number of starters (cold meats, cheeses, vegetables, rustic cakes), a dessert, water and coffee, while the full lunch includes the same menu with the addition of a first course of Agnolotti and a second course of roast pinot with a side dish.
