At the Azienda Agricola Nenci, in the heart of the Val di Chiana, a tasting awaits you that smells of home, of territory and a pinch of innovation: you will taste no less than five glasses of excellent wine, including a record-breaking Vin Santo and an award-winning oil, all accompanied by a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses so abundant that they would make the best bistros envious!

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at the Azienda Agricola Nenci in Chiusi (SI) , in the beautiful setting of the Val di Chiana. We will be welcomed by our guide , who will open the gate to this family-run business founded in 1972. We will start by breathing in the welcoming air of a company that has managed to combine 'old school' agriculture with 4. 0 technologies, while keeping the soul of its products intact.

We will be seated directly in one of the tasting rooms, intimate spaces characterised by wooden inserts and a warm, familiar atmosphere. This is where our sensory journey will begin, a guided tour of the house's excellent wines that excludes the classic Chianti to make room for more refined stylistic choices.

The tasting will begin with five glasses of wine. We will begin with a tasting of home-made bread and oil paired with the first wine, and then continue glass after glass. Among the star labels we will find the Rosso Toscano based on Sangiovese and the famous Vin Santo, produced with a fermentation mother dating back to 1820 and listed among the best 100 wines of Italy.

To accompany the wines, a rich platter of typical local products will be served, such as local cheeses and cold cuts, selected to create a perfect balance of aromas and textures. During the tasting, the guide will explain the characteristics and production secrets of each label, letting us share in the winery's history.

The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

The activity is recommended from 18 years of age.

The wine tasting is reserved for under-age participants. Any under-age or abstemious persons will be offered a non-alcoholic substitute drink and a chopping board. The venue is wheelchair accessible, including the toilets.
