There are places that don't just host you, but tell you a secret. Are you ready to discover it?
Within the lava stone walls of the Wine Museum in Sciara, one of the oldest wineries in the Alcantara Valley, the power of Etna is transformed into liquid poetry.
Between the sommelier's engaging stories and interactive installations, you will discover the history of Sicilian wine-making, for a journey that spans the centuries in a single sip.
A 2-hour experience that will end with a tasting of 5 natural wines accompanied by local products!
What we will do
The appointment is at 11 a. m. at the meeting point in Motta Camastra (ME), in the beautiful setting of the Alcantara Valley. We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the history of this ancient millstone, now transformed into a modern experiential space.
We will begin the tour by exploring the Sciara Wine Museum, where multimedia narration will allow us to understand the ancient production techniques. Thanks to large screens, projections and digital blackboards, we will see how grapes were processed in the past, immersing us completely in the identity of the place. The interactive visit will guide us through the secrets of Etna wine-making, making the story immediate and engaging.
Afterwards, we will sit down for a guided tasting of 5 natural wines , authentic expressions of the volcanic territory. The tasting will be enhanced by a sampling of 3 varieties of local olive oil , homemade bread and a selection of typical Sicilian cheeses and cold cuts .
The experience will last about 2 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience as "chaperones" at a cost of approximately €25 with payment on site according to consumption.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
