Did you know that Amarone della Valpolicella was born by pure chance? A mistake that transformed the winemaking tradition!
Join us to discover this fascinating story told by the Cantina Fratelli Vogadori, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. From a walk through the rows to a tasting of 5 selected wines, including Amarone della Valpolicella of course, you will enjoy a 1-hour experience full of emotions and authentic flavours.
What we will do
We will meet at the Cantina Fratelli Vogadori in Negrar di Valpolicella (VR), where we will be welcomed by the guide. We will begin with a pleasant walk through the vineyard, exploring first-hand the ecological cultivation methods that make these grapes so special.
We will then move inside for a visit to the winery, where we will discover the different stages of wine production: from vinification to bottling and ageing, immersing ourselves in the perfect balance between tradition and innovation that characterises the wines of the Cantina.
Then it will be time for the tasting, during which we will sample 5 of the winery's best wines, from the lightest to the most structured: Garganega Veneto, Corvina Veronese, Amarone della Valpolicella, 3 Fradei Rosso and Rita Rosso Veronese. We will accompany the wines with crunchy taralli and homemade bread with extra virgin olive oil.
For our teetotal friends, there will alternatively be 2 dealcoloured wines with the same delicious accompaniments.
During the tasting, which will last approximately 30 minutes, we will be guided by an expert through the characteristics of the grapes, production techniques and the best gastronomic pairings for each wine. We will learn to recognise the nuances that make each sip an unforgettable experience.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only.
For teetotal accompanying persons who wish to participate, 2 dealcoloured wines will be served accompanied by taralli and bread with evo oil. Please select the corresponding option in the booking box.
The facility is wheelchair accessible.

The activity can be booked throughout the year and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The wine tasting will be accompanied by taralli and bread with evo oil. If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the guide at the contact details indicated in the e-mail confirming your booking at least 2 days prior to the date of the activity.
On request, it will also be possible to taste Grappa di Amarone at an extra cost of €10 per person.
The meeting point is difficult to reach by public transport; there is free parking on site.
Dogs are allowed on the premises, except in the wine cellar for hygienic reasons.
