Come and discover Villa Castiglioncelli, an 18th-century jewel in the heart of the Chianti area of Arezzo, where history is sipped amidst original frescoes and a breathtaking panorama.
An experience that combines the art of yesteryear with the timeless pleasure of a tasting of 3 excellent wines and EVO oil !
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Villa Castiglioncelli in Cavriglia (AR) . We will be welcomed by a guide who will take us on a journey through time through this historic 18th-century residence located between the Valdarno and the Chianti Aretino.
We will begin by exploring the Piano Nobile of the Villa, where we will be able to admire the entirely frescoed rooms and the architectural layout preserved unchanged over the centuries. After nourishing our eyes with art, we will move on to the pleasures of the palate.
We will take a seat in the halls of the villa (or in the garden outside, depending on the season) for a guided tasting of three Tenuta San Jacopo wines, accompanied by a tasting of the estate's own EVO oil. On request, it will be possible to enrich the experience with a board of local cheeses and compotes to complete the picture of Tuscan flavours (€15. 00 extra to be paid locally) .
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.

The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Accompanying under-age participants may attend at a reduced cost of €15. 00.
Participants in wheelchairs should note that the frescoed Piano Nobile of the villa is not accessible, while it is possible to access the ground floor and the garden of the villa where the tasting will take place.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
