The Impressionists would have loved this en plein air tasting ! And we bet you will love it too.
Immerse yourself in the Ligurian wine tradition with a stroll through the rows of vines overlooking the Riviera di Ponente at the Azienda Agricola Dell'Erba in Albenga.
Afterwards, you can enjoy an open-air tasting consisting of three glasses and a platter of local, km 0 delicacies.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Azienda Agricola Dell'Erba in Regione Marixe (SV), in the setting of the Riviera Ligure di Ponente. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us on a pleasant walk through the rows of vines to introduce us to native grape varieties such as Pigato and Vermentino.
During the tour, we will take a close look at the vines, the type of soil and learn about pruning techniques and cultivation methods. We will be able to admire the life cycle of the plant according to the season: from spring budding to autumn rest, breathing in the atmosphere of the surrounding vineyards.
Afterwards, we will sit outside for the actual tasting . We will taste three glasses of wine (Pigato, Vermentino and a rosé) , learning to recognise their characteristics.
Accompanying the glasses will be a rich selection of local products: cheeses of various types with 0-km compotes, bruschette with seasonal vegetables, cured meats, fried panizza and vegetable pies. This will be the perfect opportunity to savour the deep connection between wine and local gastronomy.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total .

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems and pushchairs, but please note that there are no toilets equipped for the disabled.

The experience runs from April until October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 people.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
