If you are looking for a place where Albana reigns supreme and Sangiovese is your 'place to be', then Tenute Bacana in Villa Vezzano is your 'place to be': an authentic reality that has been transforming the land of gullies into liquid emotions since 1980!
Whether you choose the tasting alone or decide to add a walk among the rows of vines, get ready for a close encounter with the most authentic Romagna, all topped off with a platter of cured meats and cheeses to honour the local tradition!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Bacana Estates in Villa Vezzano (RA), in the splendid setting of the Sintria river valley, right at the foot of the village of Brisighella. We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the philosophy of the winery, which has been linked to these lands for decades.
If we choose the "vineyard tour + wine tasting" option, we will start with a walk in the vineyard lasting about 25 minutes: we will walk through the rows surrounding the estate, discovering where the Albana, Sangiovese and Trebbiano grapes are grown. During the walk, the guide will tell us about the local history, from the ancient traces of the Naldi family castle to the small church from 1296 that dominates the panorama.
Afterwards, we will sit down for a guided wine-tasting session that includes the tasting of five glasses of wine, i. e. the winery's entire proposal, so that no nuance of the territory is left behind. The guide will explain to us the organoleptic characteristics and secrets of the production of these wines, born in a unique microclimate.
To make the experience even tastier, the tasting will be accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, perfect for enhancing the flavours of Romagna.
The experience will last about 1 hour in total (for the tasting alone) or about 1. 5 hours (including the vineyard tour) .

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience as 'chaperones' with a price on request to the facility.
The facility is wheelchair-accessible, while the vineyard walk is not.

The experience takes place all year round, and is confirmed for a minimum number of 2 people.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
