Tucked away in the heart of Upper Piedmont, a ‘wine-making community’ has been flourishing for the past few years. We are talking about the La Piemontina winery, which, since 2022, has been welcoming guests to a brand-new winery in the Colli Novaresi, at the foot of Monte Rosa.
During this experience, as well as touring its production facilities, you’ll sample four glasses of wine accompanied by delicious local produce, giving you a comprehensive insight into a place where winemaking tradition, innovation and architecture come together to create the perfect blend!
What we will do
The tour will take place at the time selected when booking at the La Piemontina winery in Sizzano (NO), surrounded by the Novara Hills with the Alps in the background.
The experience will begin with a tour to discover the winery and the world of wine. Accompanied by a guide, we will explore the various production areas and gain an in-depth understanding of the key stages in the process that transforms grapes into wine. We will also be told the history of the winery, its philosophy and the deep bond that links La Piemontina to the Alto Piemonte region.
At the end of the tour, we’ll enjoy a tasting of four wines, selected according to the season and the characteristics of the moment. With each glass, we’ll discover different expressions of the winery’s production, accompanied by a selection of local cheeses and cured meats, chosen to enhance the flavours and aromas of the region.
For those who wish, after the tasting there will be an opportunity to take a stroll through the vineyards at your own pace, enjoying the splendid view of the Alps and Monte Rosa.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone; wine tasting is restricted to adults only. Minors (or anyone who does not drink alcohol) may take part in the experience as ‘accompanying guests’ at a cost of €10. 00 (water and a platter of nibbles included) .
The winery and tasting room are accessible with pushchairs and wheelchairs; the vineyard is not.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed provided a minimum of two participants sign up.
There is free on-site parking, which is also accessible to coaches and large vehicles. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Dogs are permitted in the winery’s communal areas and in the vineyard, but are not allowed in the cellar.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
