A winery awaits you in the Monferrato hills that has made 'madness' its trademark: after all, 'Alemat' in dialect means 'he's crazy'.
Together with the winemaking family, you will explore the processing room and the ancient infernot carved into the rock, and then taste 4 or 6 glasses of wine (of your choice) accompanied by a platter of typical local products.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time in Ponzano Monferrato (AL), in the setting of the rolling Monferrato hills. We will be welcomed by the guide, ready to welcome us and explain the history of the winery, the family's passion and the values that guide production.
We will begin the tour inside the small winery, where the guide will describe in detail the stages of vinification, the types of vines and the characteristics of wine production. We will then move on to the lower part of the structure: here we will explore the area dedicated to ageing, where the barriques are located, and then enter the evocative historical infernot, where we will understand the geological history of this particular hilly terrain.
Once the guided tour is over, we will sit down to begin the tasting. Depending on the option selected at the time of booking, we will taste 4 or 6 wines chosen from the winery's labels: Piemonte Riesling Doc, Piemonte Grignolino Doc, BARBACRO' red wine (a blend of native red grapes) and, depending on availability, Monferrato Rosso Doc or Barbera d'Asti Superiore Docg.
Glasses will be served in combination with a platter of local Piedmontese cold cuts and cheeses.
The experience will last a total of about 1. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only; any minors or accompanying persons not tasting may participate free of charge.
The facility is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the barrique area and the historic infernot.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
When booking, you can choose between the "4 wines + board" option and the "6 wines + board" option; select your preference in the booking box.
Pets are allowed on the estate; a leash is compulsory.

There is ample free parking on site. The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
