You can finally find out this and other interesting information at Casale Mattia: a wine-growing and wine-producing estate located not far from the centre of Rome, where a family works daily to enhance the territory and Frascati wine.
A2-hour experience that you will enjoy na cifra!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Casale Mattia in Monte Compatri (RM). We will be welcomed by our guide, a member of the Rotelli-De Sanctis family, who will accompany us on a discovery of this wine-growing estate not far from the capital.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin outside with a walk through the vineyard: the guide will not fail to tell us interesting anecdotes about cultivation techniques, pruning and harvesting. We will then move inside for a visit to the cellar: we will learn more about vinification in steel and finally discover the difference between DOC, DOCG, IGT and DOP designations.
We will then reach the room that will welcome us for the tasting: the guide will serve and describe 2 glasses of house wine to choose from white, rosé and red. The toast will be accompanied by bread topped with home-produced olive oil and locally produced salami.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Underage participants and paying abstemious persons will be served snacks accompanied by water or non-alcoholic drink: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your non-alcoholic preference.
The facility is wheelchair and/or pram accessible.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
