Forget the noise of the city: at Cantina Giovanni Camboni, the only noise allowed is the clink of glasses!
In this small artisanal winery in the heart of northern Sardinia, a small producer will guide you on a journey that starts from the earth and ends up straight in the bottle! You will thus discover how a great wine is born between limestone rocks and generous sunshine, visiting the beating heart of production.
A one-and-a-half-hour experience in which you will taste three glasses accompanied by typical local products and home-produced oil.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Giovanni Camboni Winery in Tissi (SS) , in the wine-growing hills of northern Sardinia. We will be welcomed by the guide who will introduce us to this family-run business where ancient farming wisdom marries modern oenological techniques.
We will begin our visit by entering right into the heart of the winery. We will see up close how a small producer works and discover the stages of the production process, from the soft pressing of the grapes to the temperature-controlled fermentation. We will be explained how ageing follows nature's natural timing, resting in steel vats or fine wood to find its balance.
After discovering the secrets of the process, we will sit down for the actual tasting . We will have the opportunity to taste 3 glasses of wines representative of the territory: we will start with the freshness of Vermentino, continue with Cagnulari and conclude with the character of Cannonau.
To make the moment even more special, the wines will be accompanied by a board of local products. We will be able to taste local cheeses and cured meats along with other local products, enhanced by the winery's own olive oil. It will be a true experiential journey among the indigenous flavours of Sardinia.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.

The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the activity while enjoying the family atmosphere of the wine cellar.
The facility is accessible to wheelchair users and those with pushchairs.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
