Have you ever wondered what a legend tastes like?
At Villa Meneghello, in Lazise, it is not just a figure of speech: here every sip tells the thousand-year-old stories of Lake Garda, with labels with evocative names such as Sirenella, Profetessa or Hángelos that bring the myths of the area into the glass.
Come and discover this reality where passion has been handed down since 1536: a visit to the cellar and a tasting of 3 wines of your choice among whites, rosés and reds, accompanied by the decisive flavours of soppressa veneta and grana padano are waiting for you.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Villa Meneghello in Lazise in the province of Verona, in the setting of the Garda moraine hills. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will take us on a journey through time, telling us how the tradition of the Meneghello family has combined with the excellence of the Delaini family's hospitality.
Weather permitting, we will begin with a 10-minute walk through the vineyard, the best way to connect with the land before seeing its fruits. We will then continue inside for a tour of the winery, where we will explore the winemaking processes that transform grapes into 'nectar of legend'. The tour will last about 20-30 minutes.
The highlight will be the tasting: we will be seated in the estate's picturesque olive grove or, in the event of bad weather, in the cosy inner room. Here we will be able to choose and taste three glasses of wine from the labels inspired by the myths of the lake, such as the white Profetessa (Lugana DOC) or the rosé Bennie or Melsinea (Garda DOC Rosato Brut) .
To accompany the glasses, we will enjoy a board with soppressa veneta and grana padano, a perfect combination with the aromas of local wines.
The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying persons under the age of 16 may participate in the experience free of charge. For people with astemia, the fee remains unchanged; they will be served juices and soft drinks as an alternative.
The facility is accessible to people with mobility problems, with the exception of the cooperage area.
Other information
Attention! In the event of bad weather, the vineyard walk will be suspended and the entire experience will take place indoors.
The experience takes place from April to October.
Dogs are allowed in all areas except the cellar.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
