Does there really have to be a reason to raise a glass?
What if the toast itself were the experience? Here’s an activity you simply can’t miss: a stroll through the stunning vineyards of the Valle Reale estate, in the province of Pescara, followed by a tasting of four glasses of wine!
Once you’ve sampled the local delicacies, you won’t need any more of a reason to raise a glass!
What we will do
The event will take place at the time selected on the calendar at the Valle Reale farm in Popoli (PE), set against the backdrop of a unique landscape. We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us throughout the experience.
We’ll begin by listening to a presentation about the estate, which specialises in organic and biodynamic viticulture, and by examining maps of the surrounding vineyards to understand the origins and evolution of the native Montepulciano and Trebbiano grape varieties.
We will then take our seats in the lounge to begin a guided tasting of four glasses, during which we will sample two white wines and two red wines. The tasting will feature the Village, Cru Montepulciano, Popoli and Capestrano wines.
Each glass will be expertly complemented by exquisite food pairings from the Abruzzo region. We will savour bread made with two ancient grains by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito,extra virgin olive oil from the Valentini estate and a selection of cheeses from a local farm.
Our experience will be enhanced by a refreshing 15-minute stroll through the estate’s vineyards – a completely flat walk – which will take place either before or after the tasting session, depending on your preferences and the organisation’s arrangements.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is open to those aged 18 and over.
There are no non-alcoholic options available for participants who do not drink alcohol. Children are, however, welcome to take part in the experience if they wish.
The venue is accessible to wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments and those with pushchairs.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 people has been reached.

In the event of bad weather, the activity will go ahead as planned, without the walk through the vineyard.
Dogs are allowed.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
