Do you know what makes a wine really special?
In this wine-tasting experience in the heart of Monferrato, anexpert oenologist will reveal it to you!
From the walk through the vineyards to the visit to the winery, to the tasting of 5 wines accompanied by local cold meats and cheeses, every sip will be a journey through tradition, passion and taste!
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected when booking at the La Mondianese winery in Montemagno, in the province of Asti. We will be welcomed by anexpert oenologist, who will guide us on this journey into the world of wine.
We will begin with a 15-20 minute walk between the rows of vines, discovering the secrets of cultivation and harvesting surrounded by the colours and scents of the Asti countryside.
We will then enter the heart of production with a visit to the cellar, amidst steel tanks and oak barrels, to understand how must is transformed into wine.
Afterwards, we will move on to the wine tasting room, with 5 selected labels including Barbera, Ruché and other excellences of the cellar. To accompany each sip, a platter of local cold meats and cheeses. The oenologist will guide us through the tasting with interesting anecdotes and curiosities about wine production and the art of wine matching.
The experience lasts 2½ hours, including a visit to the winery and tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Any accompanying underage participants may attend free of charge; they will be offered tea or soft drinks accompanied by crisps during the tasting.
The activity is wheelchair accessible.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Dogs are allowed on the premises, but must remain outside the cellar.
