If you think that any old souvenir is enough to capture the true spirit of Tuscany, get ready to change your mind: here, Chianti isn’t just a label, it’s a declaration of love for the land that has been going strong since 1982.
Come and discover the Bonomonte Winery in Barberino Tavarnelle, where you’ll first be treated to a complete immersion amongst the vineyards and the secrets of an underground cellar, followed by a private tasting of four wines, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil, vin santo and cantucci.
What we will do
The tour takes place at the selected time at the Bonomonte Winery in Barberino Tavarnelle (FI), set against the stunning backdrop of the Chianti hills.
You will begin the tour with a 10-minute visit to the cellar, which is located underground, directly beneath the main building. You will explore the areas dedicated to the fermentation processes in the concrete vats and to bottling, discovering the technical details that help preserve the grapes’ aromatic qualities.
Once back above ground, it will be time for the guided tasting. If the weather is fine, you can sit outside to enjoy the surrounding landscape; otherwise, you will be welcomed into the dedicated tasting room. You will taste four outstanding wines from the estate’s production: the Ros’Astro Toscana I. G. T. Rosé, the Chianti D. O. C. G., the Camp’Albracco Toscana I. G. T. Red and the prestigious Chianti D. O. C. G. Riserva.
The experience isn’t limited to wine: you’ll also taste the estate’s own extra virgin olive oil and finish with the classic pairing of vin santo and cantuccini.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours.

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Accompanying persons aged 18 and over who do not participate in the wine tasting (abstemious persons and/or pregnant women) pay the same fee and will be served accompanying food, extra virgin olive oil and water. Accompanying persons aged 0 to 17 participate free of charge: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence.
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
