They say that drinking wine is drinking genius, and when it comes to theAzienda Agricola Manuelina, we can only agree!
TheOltrepò Pavese is waiting for you for a 2-hour wine tasting session that reveals the dedication that this family-run business has reserved for its products for generations.
A walk through the vineyard, a visit to the cellar and the guidance of an expert in the field make this an experience not to be missed!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point at theAzienda Agricola Manuelina in Santa Maria della Versa (PV), where the host will be waiting for us.
We will begin the experience with a walk through the vineyards close to the company, from which we will be able to admire a magnificent panorama of the surrounding valleys. In the meantime, our guide will explain the history of this family-run company, which was founded in 1926 and has evolved from generation to generation up to the present day.
During this first moment, which lasts approximately 30 minutes, we will find out what the vineyard processing cycles are, which grapes are grown in the Oltrepò Pavese area, and how. We will then continue with a visit to the cellar, which will take 30 minutes and will allow us to observe the equipment used in the process of transforming grapes into wine.
Finally, we will move to the room where the wine tasting will take place. The guide will offer us four glasses, accompanied by snacks (included) such as breadsticks and Grana cheese. The wines we will taste will be:
- Dosaggio Zero, a Metodo Classico sparkling wine from Pinot Noir grapes
- Filare 52, a Riesling
- Achillius, a sparkling Bonarda
- Il traditore, a Sangue di Giuda
The tasting, lasting about 1 hour, will be guided and will allow us to discover many interesting facts about the wines tasted. The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 3. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors may participate in the experience free of charge.
The premises where the experience takes place are not accessible to wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants. In the event of bad weather, the experience will take place indoors.
The wine tasting will be accompanied by some snacks, which may vary depending on the period and availability. If you have any allergies or intolerances, you can report them to the organisers using the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail. Non-alcoholic options are not available.
Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash. In the case of large dogs, a muzzle is also required. The only room they cannot enter is the wine cellar.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking spaces are available at the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
