Full description
On the Virzì hills, kissed by the Sicilian sun, the Dei Principi di Spadafora winery is synonymous with love for wine and territory.
The current owner Francesco Spadafora and his daughter Enrica will welcome you to their winery-house in Camporeale for a tour of the estate and an explanation of its organic philosophy.
During the2-hour experience, you will also taste 3 wines with a gastronomic pairing designed to enhance the characteristics of each. In short, it will be a princely tasting!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Dei Principi di Spadafora winery in Camporeale (PA), 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
We will be welcomed by Enrica, who works alongside her father Francesco Spadafora in managing the family-run winery. We will begin with a tour of the estate through the vineyards and then into the production area, to get a complete view of the entire production chain.
During the tour we will discover the history of the winery and of the Spadafora family, a noble Sicilian family dating back to 1230. We will also have the opportunity to learn more about the organic wine-making method, which aims to enhance the native vineyards to produce wines of great quality.
At the end of the 15-20 minute tour, we will take a seat in the tasting room or outside, in the shade of a beautiful ficus tree, to taste 3 wines with organic certification:
- Catarratto 2023
- Our Rosé 2022
- Syrah 2021
Each wine will be accompanied by a gastronomic pairing with garden and seasonal produce, as well as a tasting of oil , also produced by the winery.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors may participate by paying a reduced fee; water and freshly squeezed juices (if in season) are available for them.
Part of the cellar and the tasting room are wheelchair and pushchair accessible.

The experience can be booked all year round and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
