Come and discover the soul of the Colli Orientali del Friuli in a glass of wine!
We are waiting for you at Spolert Winery in Prepotto, a place where Friulian traditions meet sustainability. You will explore the estate through a guided tour of the winery, walking through the vineyards and discovering the secrets of winemaking.
A sensory journey in which you will taste from 3 to 5 wines (to be chosen when booking) , accompanied by a platter of typical cold cuts and cheeses!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the winery in Prepotto (UD), in the splendid setting of the Colli Orientali del Friuli.
The reception staff will introduce you to the philosophy of the winery, a historical reality of the area that is now living a second life thanks to new management, in a logic of modernisation and sustainability.
Weather permitting, you will begin your journey with a walk through the surrounding vineyards. You will then visit the vinification room and the barrique cellar, where you will discover the ageing process in cement, amphora and barrique. During the tour, which lasts about 20 minutes, you will be explained the unique characteristics of the Prepotto terroir .
You will then take a seat for a guided wine tasting, which can take place in the cosy indoor hall or outside in fine weather. When booking, you will be able to choose between 3 or 5 glasses, ranging from the great classics such as Friulano and Ribolla Gialla, to characterful reds such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino di Prepotto, the undisputed protagonist of the area.
The wines will be accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses. It will be a convivial moment to learn more about each label in an open and hospitable environment.
The experience will last approximately 1 and a half hours (for the tasting of 3 wines) or 2 hours (for the tasting of 5 wines) .
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only.
Children under the age of 12 do not pay, while children aged 13 and over and any accompanying teetotalers pay a reduced rate for the wine board and a non-alcoholic drink. Please select the corresponding option in the booking box.
The venue is wheelchair-accessible.

The experience takes place all year round, in a private formula for up to 20 people.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
