Who passed on all his passion and expertise to his children and grandchildren, who today accompany us on a discovery of theLa Piotta winery. We will stroll through the vineyard, visit the cellar and taste the most representative labels of the house.
A 2-hour experience, exploring the Oltrepò Pavese area in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at theAzienda Agricola La Piotta in Montalto Pavese (PV). We will be welcomed by the owner of the winery, who will accompany us on a discovery tour of this family-run winery in the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese area!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a walk outside the winery: we will sit on a terrace with a panoramic view of the vineyard and the hilly landscape, listening to stories and curiosities about the area. We will then move inside for a visit to the winery: we will walk through the production rooms, from pressing to bottling, witnessing the transformation of grapes into wine; the last room will be the characteristic barrel cellar, where we will learn more about the production of sparkling wine using the classic method. This first moment will last about 45 minutes.
We will then take a seat in the tasting room, with a view of the vineyard and the hilly landscape. The tasting will consist of five glasses of the company's most representative wines , including sparkling wine, Riesling and Pinot Noir. The tasting will be accompanied by a platter of typical products such as cold meats and cheeses. The guide and owner will not fail to skilfully describe the products, ending the exploration of the Oltrepò Pavese territory with smell and taste!
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.

The experience takes place from October to July and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
In case of bad weather the experience will take place entirely indoors.
